Are you an experienced RICS Registered Valuer for flexible consultancy work?
We're recruiting for a Residential Surveyor to join a well-established, independent residential surveying practice to cover Exeter and the wider Devon area.
Due to continued growth and increasing demand, this is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Residential Surveyor seeking a flexible consultancy position with a consistent pipeline of instructions, strong administrative support and the opportunity to increase workload as desired.
The Role: As a Residential Surveyor, you will:
- Undertake mortgage valuations for a range of lender clients
- Complete RICS Level 2 Home Surveys
- Complete RICS Level 3 Building Surveys
- Produce accurate, professional reports in line with RICS standards and lender requirements
- Manage your own diary and workload efficiently
- Deliver excellent customer service throughout the inspection and reporting process
- Maintain compliance with all relevant professional and regulatory standards
- Build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
Residential Surveyor Requirements:
AssocRICS or MRICS qualification
RICS Registered Valuer (VRS) status is essential
Proven experience carrying out mortgage valuations
Experience completing RICS Level 2 Home Surveys and Level 3 Building Surveys
Strong knowledge of residential property construction and defects
Excellent report writing and communication skills
Highly organised, professional and self-motivated approach
Full UK driving licence and own vehicle
