About the Role
An established and client-focused legal practice is looking to appoint an experienced Residential Conveyancing Solicitor to join its team in Wallasey.
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified solicitor with a minimum of 3 years' PQE and a strong background in residential property.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to manage a varied caseload, work closely with clients and take a high level of ownership over their matters within a professional and supportive team environment.
The role would suit a solicitor who combines strong technical conveyancing knowledge with excellent client care and a proactive approach to progressing transactions.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a varied caseload of residential conveyancing matters from instruction through to completion.
- Handle residential sales and purchases, remortgages, transfers of equity and related property matters.
- Provide clear, practical and commercially aware advice to clients.
- Review contracts, title documentation, searches and property information.
- Raise and respond to enquiries and resolve issues efficiently.
- Liaise with clients, estate agents, lenders and other solicitors throughout the transaction.
- Manage exchange and completion processes effectively.
- Ensure post-completion requirements are dealt with accurately and promptly.
- Identify potential risks and provide appropriate advice to clients.
- Maintain accurate and compliant case files.
- Work in accordance with relevant legal, regulatory and internal requirements.
- Contribute positively to the wider team and maintain the high level of service expected by the practice.
About You
The successful candidate will have:
A minimum of 3 years' PQE.
A strong background in residential conveyancing.
The ability to manage a caseload independently from instruction through to completion.
Strong technical knowledge of residential property law and conveyancing procedures.
Excellent client care and communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and organisational ability.
The ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively to deadlines.
A proactive approach to progressing transactions and resolving issues.
A professional, approachable and commercially minded attitude.
A commitment to delivering consistently high standards of client service.
The ability and willingness to work fully office-based in Wallasey.
What We Offer
£45,000–£50,000 salary, depending on experience.
