Summary: This part-time role involves assisting with data analysis for a NERC-funded research project focused on Amazonia's Safe Operating Space. The position requires support in data management, validation, and curation, as well as organizing project meetings and writing updates. Fieldwork opportunities in the Amazon may be available based on experience and project needs. Proficiency in Portuguese and experience in ecological data analysis are essential for this position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with data management and analysis for the research project.
  • Validate and curate data collected by field teams.
  • Organize project meetings and facilitate travel between partners in Brazil and the UK.
  • Write project updates and collate information on impacts and project expenditure.
  • Participate in potential fieldwork in the Amazon, depending on experience and project needs.
