We’re currently supporting a leading biopharmaceutical organisation in the search for a Research Scientist to join an established Injectable Formulation Development team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on scientist with experience in protein/antibody characterisation and analysis to contribute to formulation development across the Biopharmacuetical development life-cycle, from early non-clinical studies through to clinical development.
The role will involve:
- Performing laboratory experiments and analytical studies supporting non-clinical and clinical programmes
- Supporting pre-formulation and formulation development activities
- Characterising antibody/protein stability and degradation pathways
- Developing and authoring protocols, reports and technical documentation
- Analysing data and presenting findings to cross-functional teams
- Working collaboratively across a fast-paced biopharmaceutical development environment
The ideal candidate will have:
- MSc or PhD in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Biology or a related scientific discipline
- 3+ years of relevant laboratory experience
- Strong experience in protein/antibody analysis, ideally including techniques such as HPLC/UPLC, iCE, UV spectroscopy, DLS, CGE, rheology or MFI
- Experience in formulation development and/or laboratory automation would be advantageous
- Strong analytical and numerical skills, with the ability to critically evaluate experimental data
- Excellent communication, organisation and teamwork skills
- A proactive, adaptable approach and the ability to manage multiple priorities
if this sounds like the role for you then apply now!
