Summary: The Research Quality Assurance and Governance Lead will play a crucial role in the Research Team at The Shrewsbury and Telford Hospitals NHS Trust, focusing on quality assurance and service improvement within the Research & Innovation service. The successful applicant will ensure the efficient running of the quality assurance and service improvement aspects of the Research & Innovation service, including but not limited to audit, monitoring, project development, capacity and capability and regulatory compliance. Main duties of the job To provide for the efficient running of the quality assurance and service improvement aspects of the R&I service, including but not limited to audit, monitoring, project development, capacity and capability and regulatory compliance. To ensure that the service is able to provide an excellent and comprehensive supportive service to those undertaking research across the organisation. Supporting the Head of R&I and Director of R&I in the management of the Trusts R&I strategy and implementation of the UK Research Policy for Health and Social care.
