Summary: The Research Multimedia Specialist role is a 12-month fixed-term contract based in Birmingham, focusing on transforming research into engaging digital formats within a global financial services organization. The position involves editing multimedia content, collaborating with analysts, and ensuring effective distribution across digital platforms. The specialist will also curate content and develop innovative ways to present complex research. This role is integral to enhancing the delivery of insights in the Global Investment Research division.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Edit and prepare audio and video content for publication, including trimming, stitching, adding intros, and exporting final assets
  • Collaborate with research analysts to refine content and secure approvals
  • Work alongside senior analysts to publish multimedia outputs to client-facing platforms
  • Ensure published content is accurately displayed and distributed across digital channels and mobile applications
  • Develop and produce recurring multimedia features, such as weekly summaries and event replays
  • Support content strategies for major events, including conferences and flagship presentations
  • Curate and prioritise research content on digital platforms using editorial judgement
  • Assign rankings and visibility to reports to optimise user engagement
  • Organise and tag content across themes, sectors and topics
  • Build collections, landing pages and curated content hubs
  • Identify and highlight key themes by connecting related research across disciplines
  • Partner with design teams to create visual assets such as info-graphics, slides, and interactive content
  • Develop innovative ways to present complex research in accessible formats
  • Maintain and evolve editorial resources, including style guides, glossaries and content libraries
  • Create and manage templates for recurring content formats and layouts

Our client, a leading global financial services organisation, is seeking a Research Multimedia Specialist to join its Global Investment Research division. This division delivers high-quality insights across equity, fixed income, currency and commodities markets, supporting a diverse client base that includes institutions, corporations and investors worldwide.

The Global Investment Research team produces original, data-driven analysis on industries, companies and macroeconomic trends. Their work helps clients make informed strategic and investment decisions. The team operates at the forefront of research innovation, continuously evolving how insights are delivered across digital platforms.

This role sits within a global editorial and digital content team, working closely with senior editorial leadership to shape and execute the division's multimedia strategy.
