About The RoleWe have an exciting opportunity for a Research Associate to join us on the ATI (Aerospace Technology Institute) funded project Multi-Application Bonding (MABOND). The project partners Bath with several industrial and academic collaborators which are invested in composite manufacturing processes. MABOND is a research and innovation initiative to develop and accelerate structural bonding technologies to replace fasteners.We re seeking a composites research engineer who will conduct parametric studies and material testing relating to our in-house resistance welding process. You will modify the existing rig according to project requirements and based on our evolving understanding of the process.
