This role supports tissue-enhanced delivery platform development and portfolio programs through tissue processing, bioanalytical testing, and cell-based functional assays.
The position involves applying molecular biology techniques such as PCR, MSD, and ELISA while supporting protocol development, data analysis, and laboratory documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Support tissue-enhanced delivery platform development and associated portfolio programs.
- Process animal tissues for protein analysis and nucleic acid extraction.
- Perform MSD and PCR-based methods for bioanalytical analyses.
- Perform cell-based functional assays to characterize biotherapeutics.
- Establish SOPs and adapt new protocols from scientific literature.
- Maintain accurate and complete records in an electronic laboratory notebook (ELN).
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or a related scientific discipline.
- 1+ years of experience in the biotechnology/pharmaceutical industry or post-bachelor’s research.
- Hands-on experience with molecular biology techniques, including qPCR/ddPCR, ELISA, Western Blot, or similar methods.
- Ability to independently execute experiments and analyze resulting data.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional and matrixed teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience with animal tissue processing.
- Previous experience performing ELISA or MSD assays.
- Previous experience with mammalian cell culture and cell-based assays.
