Summary: The Requirements Engineer role involves capturing and managing engineering requirements within complex mechanical or EC&I projects in a highly regulated environment. The position requires practical project delivery experience and is not a traditional Systems Engineer role. The role offers a hybrid working arrangement and the potential for outside IR35 engagement. Candidates will work on long-term secure projects within the defence and nuclear sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Capturing and managing project and technical requirements
- Working closely with engineering and project teams to define scope
- Supporting requirement traceability and documentation activities
- Liaising with stakeholders across multidisciplinary teams
- Ensuring requirements align with project and compliance needs
Key Skills:
- Background in Mechanical Engineering or EC&I Engineering
- Experience with requirements capture/documentation within engineering projects
- Strong stakeholder communication skills
- Experience within regulated industries would be advantageous
- Active SC clearance minimum required
