We are working with a leading global financial services group who are rolling out SAP Analytics Cloud as the new reporting front end for Group Finance. They now need a hands-on SAC specialist who can take ownership, drive the build, and embed it across the finance community. You’ll sit in the Global Financial Information Services team, reporting directly to Kevin Connors, working in a small, focused team of three and partnering closely with senior finance stakeholders from the CFO down.
The opportunity
This role is all about getting SAP Analytics Cloud up and running and truly embedded in the business. In your first 6 months you’ll:
- Lead the build-out of SAC for SAP Group Reporting, ahead of a critical go-live in May
- Make SAC the primary (and only) reporting front end for Group Reporting
- Shape and deliver SAC reporting, dashboards and analysis that support core financial reporting, annual reports and regulatory returns
- Work with finance, IT, project teams and external providers to agree what “good” looks like and then turn that into working SAC solutions
- Help “sell” SAC into the business – explaining the benefits, building confidence, and making sure people actually use what you build
- Put in place sensible structures (security, standards, ways of working) so SAC can scale beyond the initial project
What you’ll bring
At least 2 years’ solid experience with SAP Analytics Cloud – ideally having implemented or driven SAC in another organisation
Around 5 years’ broader BI / Analytics experience, comfortable working end-to-end from requirements to delivery
Experience working with SAP S/4HANA data
Confidence to take ownership of deliverables, push work forward and drive change in a small team
Strong communication and stakeholder skills – able to work with senior finance users, IT and external partners and to embed a new reporting tool in day-to-day use
Financial services background is a bonus but not essential
