Summary: The Repairs Co-Ordinator will provide and coordinate administrative support for the Wheelchair Repair and Service team at North Bristol NHS Trust. This role involves liaising with patients and carers, managing service calls, and coordinating workloads for service engineers. The successful candidate will also be responsible for maintaining stock control and ensuring timely delivery of services. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential for effectively managing patient interactions and service operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaising with patients, carers, and care professionals for repair services and coordinating relevant paperwork.
  • Completing works orders and associated notes to close down completed jobs in a timely manner.
  • Coordinating workload and jobs for field service engineers.
  • Maintaining efficient goods inwards control and ensuring timely fitting of parts for patient equipment.
  • Liaising with service management to develop effective management information reporting systems.
  • Utilizing computerised stock control systems to update records and maintain patient details.
  • Complying with service requirements of the BCE Quality Management Systems and relevant policies.
  • Undertaking other reasonable duties as agreed with the manager.
