Summary: The Rent Operations Manager is a temporary leadership position within NCC Housing Services, focused on overseeing the recovery of unpaid rents and ensuring efficient service delivery in the Income Team. This position requires collaboration with the Head of Rents and handling complex cases in a dynamic environment. The contract is initially for three months with a hybrid working arrangement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Overseeing rent collection and arrears recovery across NCC Housing Services.
• Supporting the Head of Rents in coordinating service delivery within the Income Team.
• Managing and leading a team to ensure high-quality performance and service.
• Handling complex cases in a fast-paced housing management or customer service environment.
• Ensuring compliance with Housing Benefits and Welfare Benefits regulations.

Key Skills:

• Proven management experience in rents and income management.
• Background in housing management or a customer-facing role, dealing with complex cases and competing priorities.
• Strong knowledge of Housing Benefits and Welfare Benefits.
• Ability to lead, motivate, and manage a team to achieve service goals.
• Desirable qualifications include NVQ Level 4/5 or a Chartered Institute of Housing qualification (or working towards one).
