Zscaler Consultants (ZIA and ZPA Certified) - Remote position (Two Weeks Project)

Summary: The role of Zscaler Consultant involves leading the design and implementation of Zscaler-based AI Firewall solutions for a two-week project. The consultant will ensure robust security measures while integrating AI Firewall services into customer operations, providing training and support to junior staff. The position requires extensive knowledge of network security and compliance with industry regulations. This is a remote position requiring ZIA and ZPA certification.

Key Responsibilities:

• Solution Design: Lead the design of Zscaler-based AI Firewall solutions, considering the customer's unique requirements, AI use cases and industry best practices. Create comprehensive architecture plans and AI Firewall security policies.
• Implementation: Oversee the deployment and configuration of Zscaler AI Firewall, including security policies and detections. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI Firewall services into broader Zscaler solutions and customer security operations.
• AI Network Security: Ensure that Zscaler AI Firewall deployments integrate smoothly into customer AI implementations and provide robust security measures while protecting customer data and privacy. Implement policies and access controls to protect against cyber threats effectively.
• Advanced Troubleshooting: Utilize your deep knowledge and experience to troubleshoot complex issues related to Zscaler AI Firewall deployments. Address and resolve performance, connectivity, and security incidents promptly.
• Performance Optimization: Continuously monitor and fine-tune Zscaler configurations and policies for optimal performance. Adjustment to improve risk mitigation, accuracy, routing of traffic and reduction of latency.
• Compliance and Governance: Ensure that Zscaler deployments meet industry-specific compliance requirements. Implement and enforce security policies in alignment with regulations, such as HIPAA, GDPR, and NIST.
• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed project documentation, including design, configuration, and testing records. Prepare regular status reports for management and stakeholders.
• Training and Mentoring: Provide guidance and training to junior engineers and IT staff. Share your expertise in Zscaler technologies and best practices.

Key Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in designing and implementing Secure Access Services Edge (SASE) and Web Application Firewall (WAF) solutions.
• Possession of relevant Zscaler and security certifications (preferred)
• Extensive knowledge of network security principles and best practices.
• Understanding of general security concepts around security operations.
• Understanding of AI principles and architecture, including cloud computing, Kubernetes infrastructure and cloud security principles
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with a track record of resolving complex issues.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Familiarity with other security technologies and solutions, such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and VPNs.
