Summary: The Yardi AppDev Sr Advisor role requires a seasoned professional with over 5 years of experience in Yardi software and application development. The position involves providing strategic counsel to management, designing complex systems, and delivering comprehensive application solutions. The advisor will work closely with clients and IT teams to identify and implement effective programming solutions while ensuring ongoing support and documentation. This role is remote and classified as outside IR35.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provides counsel and advice to top management on significant Application Development matters, often requiring coordination between organizations.
- Acts as the principal designer for complex major systems and their subsystems utilizing a thorough understanding of available technology, tools and existing designs.
- Provides comprehensive consultation to business unit and IT management and staff at the highest technical level on all phases of application programming and processes for diverse development platforms, computing environments.
- Works closely with client and IT management and staff to identify application development solutions, new or modified programs, reuse of existing code, or integration of purchased solutions.
- Researches and evaluates alternative solutions and recommends the most efficient and cost effective application programming solution.
- May code new or modified programs, reuse existing code, and/or integrates purchased solutions.
- Documents, tests, implements and provides on-going support for the applications.
- Focuses on providing thought leadership and technical expertise across multiple disciplines.
- Recognized internally as the go-to person for the most complex Application Development assignments.
Key Skills:
- 5+ years of experience with Yardi software.
- 5+ years of experience working in various project delivery methodologies, preferably Agile / SAFe.
- 5+ years of experience delivering full lifecycle application development solutions.
- Strong coding, testing, documentation, and support skills.
- Ability to provide comprehensive consultation at the highest technical level.
- Experience in researching and evaluating alternative solutions.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

- 5+ years of experience with Yardi a comprehensive property management and real estate investment software platform used by property managers, owners, and investors to streamline operations, accounting, and tenant services.
5+ years of experience working in various project delivery methodologies preferably Agile / SAFe
- 5+ years of experience delivering full lifecycle application development solutions, including evaluation of alternatives, integration of third-party tools, hands-on coding, testing, documentation, and ongoing support.
