Workday Time Tracking Consultant

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Workday Time Tracking Consultant to support the design, configuration, implementation, and optimization of Workday Time Tracking solutions.

The ideal candidate will possess strong functional expertise in Workday HCM and Time Tracking, with the ability to gather business requirements, configure system solutions, and support end-to-end project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support Workday Time Tracking implementations, enhancements, and post-production support activities.
• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements related to employee time entry, time calculations, work schedules, shifts, leave integration, and labor tracking.
• Configure and maintain Workday Time Tracking components including:
• Time Entry Codes
• Time Calculation Rules
• Work Schedules
• Shift Configurations
• Time Tracking Security
• Time Clock and Web/Mobile Time Entry
• Collaborate with HR, Payroll, Absence Management, and business stakeholders to design scalable solutions.
• Configure integrations between Workday Time Tracking, Payroll, Absence Management, and third-party systems.
• Conduct unit testing, system integration testing (SIT), and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Troubleshoot and resolve Time Tracking-related issues and production incidents.
• Prepare functional specifications, configuration workbooks, process documentation, and training materials.
• Support Workday releases by assessing impacts, testing new features, and recommending improvements.
• Provide guidance on Workday best practices and process optimization.

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of Workday functional experience with a focus on Time Tracking.
• Hands-on experience configuring Workday Time Tracking modules.
• Strong understanding of:
• Time Tracking
• Absence Management
• Payroll processing
• Workforce Scheduling concepts
• Experience in gathering business requirements and translating them into Workday solutions.
• Knowledge of Workday security and business processes.
• Experience in testing, defect management, and production support.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
