Summary: The role of Workday Techno-Functional Consultant involves providing expertise in Workday implementation and configuration, particularly focusing on integrations. The consultant will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing integrations between Workday HCM and other applications while solving complex business problems related to HR functions. Strong communication skills and experience with various Workday tools and integrations are essential for success in this position. This is a remote contract position based in the USA.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in Workday implementation/configuration support.
  • Workday experience using Cloud Connect for Benefits, EIB, Core Connectors, Document Transformation, and Workday Studio.
  • Hands-on experience configuring in Workday general HCM, business process framework, and reporting.
  • Experience in building and supporting integrations for Workday HCM Applications.
  • Support Workday interfaces with internal/external applications and other vendor applications.
  • Design, develop, and test integrations between Workday HCM and other applications.
  • M&A (merger and acquisition) experience is an additional advantage.
  • Identify, assess, and solve complex business problems for integrating Workday with external applications.
  • Support Workday integration with strong knowledge of XML, XSLT development/testing.
  • Experience in data migration, including Workday to other HCM ERP systems.
  • Skilled in data mapping, transformation, and migration workflows across HCM platforms.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams on data-related inquiries.
  • Timely identification and escalation of risks and development of alternative approaches.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; Workday Integration Certifications are highly desired.
