Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement robust, scalable, and secure solutions aligned with the company's strategic objectives.
• Translate business requirements into effective technical solutions.
• Ensure solutions are implemented to meet both current and future needs of the finance and pensions.
• Collaborate closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and propose solutions.
• Conduct solution architecture research, PoCs, feasibility assessment and facilitating solution application selections.
• Develop and implement the architecture for the finance migration project, ensuring alignment with business goals and Workday best practices.
• Collaborate with Finance and IT stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure the solution meets their needs.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to the project team, ensuring best practices in solution design and implementation.
• Design, oversee and implement the integration of Workday with existing systems, ensuring seamless data flow and process integration.
• Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
• Ensure the company Blueprint is kept up to date and to the standards set.
• Ensure the quality and integrity of the solution through rigorous testing and validation processes.

Key Skills:

• Proven experience as a Solution Architect, with a focus on finance system implementation and ideally Workday.
• Strong understanding of architectural frameworks and best practices.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Relevant certifications (eg TOGAF 9 certified, Certified Solutions Architect).
• Knowledge of Workday, including its architecture, integration capabilities, and best practices.
