Summary: The IT Project Manager for Workday & Payroll will oversee the integration of HR systems from acquired companies into a centralized Workday platform across approximately 30 countries. The position is fully remote and offers a 6-month initial contract outside IR35.

IT Project Manager Workday & Payroll 6 Month initial contract Outside IR35 Fully remote

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the full project lifecycle for integrating the HR systems of acquired companies into the centralised company Workday platform across approximately 30 countries.
  • Establish and maintain robust project controls, including comprehensive RAID logs (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) and status reporting.
  • Proactively track and mitigate complex cross-program and cross-country dependencies to ensure integration timelines are met without disrupting acquired business operations

Experience required:

  • Significant Experience as an IT Project Manager leading large-scale, complex HR system implementations
  • Deep Subject Matter Expertise (SME) in Payroll processes and system integrations is essential.
  • Direct experience with Workday deployments, migrations, and module integration
  • Proven ability to manage projects involving multiple simultaneous acquisitions
  • Demonstrated experience managing projects with global scope across multiple legal entities and diverse regulatory environments (ideally across 30+ countries).
  • Assertive Stakeholder Management: Proven ability to be proactive and assertive, effectively challenging stakeholders to maintain project scope, schedule, and quality.
