Summary: We are seeking an experienced Workday Project Manager to lead client engagements in a remote support environment. This role involves managing project activities across the Workday lifecycle, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with methodologies. The ideal candidate will act as a strategic partner to clients, overseeing workstreams and driving consistent project delivery. Strong project management skills and Workday certification are essential for success in this position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing end-to-end project management support across planning, design, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live activities.
- Supporting integration and data conversion workstreams and ensuring cross-functional alignment.
- Translating project and business requirements into structured operational tasks.
- Managing and prioritising the client’s work queue while balancing competing needs.
- Partnering with business stakeholders and leadership to understand goals and ensure requirements are met.
- Creating, updating, and maintaining project plans with clear tasks, ownership, and timelines.
- Ensuring all team members understand their deliverables and due dates, following up proactively to ensure progress.
- Monitoring risks, addressing issues, and escalating blockers where necessary.
- Communicating project status clearly and consistently to client sponsors, stakeholders, and internal teams.
- Supporting implementations and providing guidance through all Workday methodology stages.
Key Skills:
- Workday Project Management certification from an official Workday Services Partner (required).
- Experience delivering at least four end-to-end Workday implementations.
- At least four years of Workday project management experience.
- Strong understanding of Workday HCM and touchpoints across Benefits, Compensation, Absence, Payroll, and Time Tracking.
- Deep familiarity with Workday methodologies and best practices.
- Experience working in both PM and EM-style roles.
- Highly consultative approach, with strong client-facing communication skills.
- Skilled in stakeholder leadership, issue resolution, planning, and documentation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
