Summary: We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to oversee the delivery governance of a high-visibility Adaptive Planning optimization initiative integrated with Workday Financials. The role requires strong PMO governance and enterprise implementation expertise, focusing on both implementation delivery and post-implementation stabilization. The candidate will manage cross-functional stakeholders and collaborate closely with Deloitte, the implementation partner, to ensure successful project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead project governance, delivery oversight, and PMO activities across the Adaptive Planning optimization initiative
  • Drive audit/compliance processes including documentation, traceability, change management, testing coordination, risk and issue management, and executive reporting
  • Coordinate closely with business stakeholders, technology teams, finance leadership, and third-party implementation partners
  • Support post-production stabilization, sustainment efforts, and future roadmap planning
  • Facilitate cross-functional discussions and ensure alignment across teams and leadership
  • Manage project timelines, dependencies, deliverables, and communication across all levels of the organization

Key Skills:

  • Strong experience operating within a formal PMO governance framework
  • Proven background in audit-driven project management and enterprise delivery oversight
  • Experience managing enterprise financial systems implementations or planning/forecasting platform projects
  • Preferred experience with Adaptive Planning implementations or optimization initiatives
  • Strong plus: Workday Financials experience
  • Excellent stakeholder management and executive communication skills

The ideal candidate will bring strong PMO governance, enterprise implementation expertise, and the ability to effectively manage cross-functional stakeholders while partnering closely with Deloitte, the implementation partner.

This role will focus not only on implementation delivery, but also on post-implementation stabilization, sustainment planning, and long-term roadmap execution within a finance-driven enterprise environment.
