Our client seeks a Workday Performance Module specialist to serve as the SME for performance management. The role will configure and optimize Workday performance processes, partner with stakeholders to define future-state workflows, and deliver reporting that enables data-driven decisions. The consultant will document configurations, support release testing, and ensure compliance related to performance data.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the subject matter expert for Workday Performance Management, including goal setting, performance reviews, calibration, and continuous feedback cycles.
  • Configure and maintain performance-related business processes in Workday.
  • Analyze current performance management practices and recommend improvements aligned with organizational goals.
  • Partner with HR, business leaders, and IT to gather requirements and translate them into scalable Workday configurations.
  • Facilitate workshops and working sessions to define future-state workflows and user experiences.
  • Provide consultative guidance on best practices and Workday capabilities.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for configurations, processes, and user guides.
  • Support Workday releases by testing new features, documenting changes, and training end users.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations related to performance data.
  • Build and maintain dashboards and reports using Workday Report Writer, Calculated Fields, and BIRT.
  • Monitor performance metrics and engagement trends to support data-driven decision-making.

Experience Requirements

  • Strong background in Workday Performance module configuration across talent, marketplace, skills, and performance.
  • Business systems analysis experience with clear communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Workday Report Writer, Calculated Fields, and BIRT.
  • Familiarity with OKRs and continuous feedback models.
  • Stakeholder engagement and change management experience.
  • Strong documentation and communication skills.
  • Experience with AI enablement tools such as Claude, Gemini, GPT, Co-Pilot, or Cursor.
