Summary: The role of Senior Workday Integrations Developer is a fully remote position focused on managing and supporting Workday integrations within healthcare environments. The developer will be responsible for troubleshooting, operational continuity, stakeholder engagement, and ensuring compliance with data security standards. This position requires extensive experience in Workday integrations and collaboration with various functional teams. Strong problem-solving skills and effective communication are essential for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and monitor daily performance of Workday integrations, including EIBs, Core Connectors, Workday Studio, and API integrations.
- Investigate integration failures, identify root causes, and implement resolution steps efficiently.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for integration-related issues during the backfill period.
- Collaborate with functional and technical teams to implement new integrations and enhancements.
- Partner cross-functionally with HR, Payroll, Finance, IT, and external vendors.
- Maintain technical and functional documentation for knowledge continuity.
- Ensure integrations adhere to operational and security standards.
- Support regression testing and validation of integrations during updates.
Key Skills:
- Five plus (5)+ years of hands-on experience in Workday integrations.
- Strong command of Workday EIB, Core Connectors, Workday Studio, and Document Transformation.
- Experience with XSLT, XML, SOAP/REST web services, JSON, SFTP, and data transformation tools.
- Familiarity with data loads, file feeds, and secure transmission protocols.
- Experience supporting Workday modules such as Core HCM, Payroll, Benefits, Absence, Recruiting, and Compensation.
- Strong problem-solving mindset with proven ability to analyze issues independently.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and adapt to shifting priorities.

Job Responsibilities:
Integration Management: Maintain and monitor daily performance of Workday integrations, including EIBs, Core Connectors, Workday Studio, and API integrations across internal and third-party systems.
Troubleshooting & Support: Investigate integration failures, identify root causes, and implement resolution steps efficiently to minimize business disruption. Own and manage support tickets end-to-end.
Operational Continuity: Serve as the primary point of contact for integration-related issues during the backfill period. Ensure integration schedules, data flows, and file deliveries occur without delays.
New/Change Requests: Collaborate with functional and technical teams to implement new integrations, enhancements and updates within existing integrations.
Stakeholder Engagement: Partner cross-functionally with HR, Payroll, Finance, IT, and external vendors to support seamless data integration and compliance.
Documentation & Knowledge Transfer: Maintain technical and functional documentation, including integration specs, configuration logs, and troubleshooting guides to support knowledge continuity and future transitions.
Compliance & Data Security: Ensure integrations adhere to organizational operational & security standards, audit requirements, and privacy regulations.
Release Management: Support regression testing and validation of integrations during Workday's semi-annual updates and system patches.
Skills:
Required Skills & Experience:
Five plus (5)+ years of hands-on experience in Workday integrations within mid-to-large enterprise environments.
Strong command of Workday EIB, Core Connectors, Workday Studio, and Document Transformation.
Experience with XSLT, XML, SOAP/REST web services, JSON, SFTP, and data transformation tools.
Familiarity with data loads, file feeds, and secure transmission protocols.
Experience supporting Workday modules such as Core HCM, Payroll, Benefits, Absence, Recruiting, and Compensation.
Strong problem-solving mindset with proven ability to analyze technical and functional issues independently.
