Workday Integration Developer

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Workday Integration Developer to design, develop, test, and maintain integrations between Workday and external systems.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Workday integration technologies and a solid understanding of HR and business processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, configure, and maintain Workday integrations with internal and external applications.
• Develop and support integrations using Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, and Web Services.
• Build and maintain integrations using REST and SOAP APIs.
• Analyze integration requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Perform integration testing, troubleshooting, debugging, and production support.
• Work with HR, Payroll, Benefits, Finance, and other business teams to understand integration requirements.
• Monitor integration performance and resolve errors and failures.
• Create technical documentation, integration specifications, and support documentation.
• Collaborate with functional and technical teams throughout the development lifecycle.
• Ensure integrations follow security, data privacy, and enterprise standards.

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience as a Workday Integration Developer.
• Experience with Workday Studio and Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB).
• Strong knowledge of Workday Web Services.
• Experience with REST/SOAP APIs and XML/JSON.
• Experience developing and supporting complex Workday integrations.
• Understanding of Workday HCM and related business processes.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Core Connectors.
• Experience with Workday Report Writer, Calculated Fields, and custom reports.
• Knowledge of Workday Security and integration security.
• Experience with third-party HR, payroll, benefits, or financial systems.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field is preferred.
