Summary: The Workday HRIS Techno Functional Expert (AI Enablement) is responsible for driving the adoption and operationalization of Workday's AI capabilities within an enterprise HR landscape. This role requires a blend of deep HR functional knowledge and technical configuration skills to maximize the business value derived from Workday's AI features. The expert will collaborate with various stakeholders to integrate AI functionalities into core HR processes while ensuring data quality and governance. Additionally, the role involves monitoring the effectiveness of AI features and recommending improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the techno functional SME for AI enabled features within Workday HCM.
- Lead configuration, optimization, and adoption of Workday AI capabilities such as Skills Cloud, People Analytics, and AI driven talent insights.
- Translate HR and business use cases into Workday configurations leveraging machine learning driven functionality.
- Partner with HR, IT, and business stakeholders to embed AI features into core HR processes (talent, mobility, learning, workforce planning).
- Ensure data quality, governance, and security required for effective AI outcomes in Workday.
- Support production environments, enhancements, releases, and platform improvements related to AI functionality.
- Monitor effectiveness and adoption of AI features and recommend continuous improvements.
Key Skills:
- Experience driving HR or workforce transformation initiatives using AI/analytics.
- 6 10+ years of experience across Workday HRIS in a techno functional capacity.
- Strong functional knowledge of Workday HCM (Core HCM, Talent, Learning, Recruiting, or Workforce Planning).
- Hands on experience configuring and supporting Workday AI features such as Skills Cloud, People Analytics, Talent/Workforce Insights, or Workday Assistant.
- Strong understanding of security, business processes, calculated fields, reports, and integrations.
- Ability to translate AI driven insights into actionable HR and business outcomes.
- Experience working in enterprise, multi stakeholder HRIS environments.
