Summary: The Workday HCM Consultant role involves configuring and implementing Workday HCM modules, primarily focusing on Core HR, Time Tracking, and third-party Payroll. The consultant will interpret complex workbooks, collaborate with functional teams, and maintain documentation to ensure configurations meet business needs. This position is remote and is offered as a long-term contract. Candidates must possess the ability to read and understand configuration workbooks effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Configure within Workday HCM modules including Core HR, Time Tracking/Keeping, and third-party Payroll, as well as Recruiting, Talent, Compensation, and Benefits.
- Develop, test, and implement changes to Workday configurations in alignment with business requirements and industry best practices.
- Interpret complex workbooks and ensure the accurate translation of data and requirements into the production environment for each new site.
- Configure and validate workbooks for new sites within the Workday system, ensuring they align with business needs and technical requirements.
- Collaborate with functional teams to understand specific requirements for new sites and build the corresponding configurations.
- Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation for configurations, integrations, reports, and processes.
- Provide detailed specifications for changes and configurations made within the system.
