Summary: The Senior Business Analyst/QA for Workday HCM will collaborate with HR leadership and end-users to gather and analyze requirements, ensuring alignment with Workday capabilities. This role involves translating business needs into functional specifications, overseeing testing strategies, and supporting change management activities. The position is remote and focuses on long-term contract work within the HR and compliance sectors. Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with HR leadership, compliance officers, and end-users to gather, document, and analyze requirements.
- Conduct process mapping workshops and align Workday capabilities with HR, Benefits, Absence, Compensation, and Recruiting needs.
- Translate business requirements into functional specifications for configuration.
- Define and oversee the testing strategy, including SIT, UAT, and regression testing.
- Develop test cases/scripts and coordinate with business users during UAT.
- Validate compliance-related processes (broker licensing, audit trails, approval workflows).
- Support change management activities, including user guides, training, and adoption.
Key Skills:
- 7-10 years of BA/QA experience with at least 2 Workday HCM implementations.
- Strong understanding of HR processes and compliance in insurance/financial services.
- Familiarity with Workday testing frameworks and QA methodologies.
- Excellent documentation and stakeholder communication skills.
