Summary: The Workday Functional Payroll Analyst will be responsible for managing the efficiency and accuracy of the Workday Payroll Module for the UK within a top global company. This role involves analyzing, configuring, and maintaining payroll systems in compliance with local regulations and company policies. The position is contract-based, requiring the candidate to work through an umbrella company or PAYE. The role is remote and classified as inside IR35.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and customize the Payroll Module to meet organizational payroll requirements and ensure compliance.
- Analyze payroll system configurations, resolve discrepancies, and collaborate with Workday product owners.
- Test and validate new payroll features introduced by Workday releases.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the Workday Payroll Module in collaboration with the UK payroll team.
- Document payroll module configurations for future reference.
- Identify and implement process improvements and automation within the payroll module.
Key Skills:
- Proven experience in payroll administration and HRIS payroll module configuration.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
- Preferred experience with Workday Payroll Module.
- Knowledge of UK payroll laws and compliance requirements.
- Experience in maintaining Workday Payroll Module.
- Experience in a SOC environment.
- Ability to write clear technical documentation.
- Motivated to learn new technologies and systems.
- Strong team player with a focus on solutions and accountability.
