Summary: The Workday Functional Payroll Analyst will be responsible for managing and optimizing the Workday Payroll Module for a top global company on a contract basis. This role involves analyzing, configuring, and maintaining payroll systems to ensure compliance with UK regulations and company policies. The analyst will also troubleshoot issues, introduce system changes, and identify opportunities for process improvements. The position is remote and classified as inside IR35, requiring setup via an Umbrella Company or PAYE.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and customize the Payroll Module to meet organizational payroll requirements.
  • Analyze payroll system configurations and resolve discrepancies in collaboration with Workday product owners.
  • Test and validate new payroll features introduced by Workday releases.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the Workday Payroll Module.
  • Document payroll module configurations for future reference.
  • Identify and implement process improvements and automation within the payroll module.

Key Skills:

  • Proven experience in payroll administration and configuration of payroll modules within HRIS systems.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
  • Experience with Workday Payroll Module preferred.
  • Knowledge of UK payroll laws and compliance requirements.
  • Experience in Workday Payroll Module maintenance.
  • Ability to write technical documentation as required by regulatory agencies.
  • Strong team player with a focus on solution thinking and flexibility.
