Summary: The Workday Functional Consultant role involves providing expertise in the implementation, configuration, and maintenance of Payroll, HR, or Finance systems. The consultant will ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements while collaborating with stakeholders to enhance existing systems. This position is fully remote and offers a contract duration of 6 months with potential extensions. The role requires a proven track record in delivering Workday projects and strong communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and understand Payroll, HR or Finance processes.
- Analyse and evaluate existing Payroll, HR or Finance systems to identify areas for improvement.
- Configure and customize Payroll, HR or Finance software to align with business requirements.
- Develop and implement Payroll, HR or Finance policies, procedures, and controls to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Conduct system testing, identify issues, and recommend appropriate solutions or enhancements.
- Provide end-user training and support during implementation.
Key Skills:
- Proven record of delivering Workday projects.
- Proven experience as a Functional Consultant within Payroll, HR or Finance domains.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Consulting skillset or experience of delivering for a wide range of complex stakeholders.
- In-depth knowledge of Payroll, HR or Finance software, including configuration and workflows.
- Strong understanding of Payroll, HR or Finance processes, regulations, and compliance requirements.
