Workday Functional Analyst - UK Payroll

Summary: A leading blue chip company is looking for a Workday Functional Analyst to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of the Workday Payroll Module for the UK. This fully remote role involves analyzing, configuring, and maintaining the payroll system in compliance with local regulations and company policies. The analyst will collaborate with the Tech Payroll Team to troubleshoot issues and implement system changes while identifying opportunities for process improvements. Proven experience in payroll administration and Workday is essential for success in this position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and customize the Payroll Module to meet specific payroll requirements and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Analyze payroll system configuration based on team queries, identify discrepancies, and resolve issues with other Workday product owners.
• Test and validate new payroll features introduced by Workday releases.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the Workday Payroll Module in collaboration with the UK payroll team and cross-functional teams.
• Maintain detailed documentation of payroll module configurations for future reference.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements, enhancements, and automation within the payroll module.

Key Skills:

• Proven experience in payroll administration and configuration of payroll modules within HRIS systems.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.
• Experience with Workday Payroll Module is strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of UK payroll laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.
