Summary: The Workday Financials Solutions Consultant role is a contract position focused on migrating over 50 companies onto the Workday platform. The consultant will play a crucial role in addressing an acquisition backlog and requires extensive experience with Workday Financials, particularly in data migration and accounting practices. This position is fully remote and offers a competitive daily rate. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance transformation projects and hands-on configuration skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clear a significant acquisition backlog by migrating 50+ companies onto Workday.
- Utilize deep understanding of Chart of Accounts (CoA) migration, data mapping/cleansing, and R2R data objects (O2C, P2P).
- Apply extensive Workday Financials experience as a Solutions Consultant/Architect.
- Engage in hands-on configuration and data preparation tasks.
- Leverage knowledge of accounting practices and processes, preferably from a Chartered Accountancy background.
- Participate in mergers, acquisitions, and finance transformation projects.
Key Skills:
- 3-5 years of extensive Workday Financials experience as a Solutions Consultant/Architect.
- Deep hands-on knowledge of Workday Financials.
- Strong understanding of Chart of Accounts (CoA) migration and data mapping/cleansing.
- Experience with R2R data objects (O2C, P2P).
- Strong grasp of accounting practices and processes.
- Experience in mergers, acquisitions, and finance transformation projects.
- Hands-on configuration and data preparation skills.

Role Details/Key Skills:
The successful candidate will be pivotal in clearing a significant acquisition backlog, migrating 50+ companies onto Workday. You will need a deep understanding of Chart of Accounts (CoA) migration, data mapping/cleansing, and R2R data objects (O2C, P2P etc). At least 3-5 years extensive Workday Financials experience as a Solutions Consultant/Architect with deep hands-on knowledge of the system. A strong grasp of accounting practices and processes or come from a Chartered Accountancy Background. Experience in mergers, acquisitions, and finance transformation projects. Some hands-on configuration and data preparation skills.
