Workday Financials Developer/Analyst - Remote

Summary: The Workday Financials Developer/Analyst role focuses on leveraging expertise in Workday Financials, including Revenue Management and Cash Management, to support financial operations. The position requires hands-on experience in report creation, debugging, and building integrations, along with a strong understanding of Workday's features and best practices. This is a long-term remote position with occasional travel to Rockville, MD. The ideal candidate will be involved in ongoing maintenance and feature enhancement of Workday Financials.

Key Responsibilities:

• Utilize knowledge of Workday Financials, including Revenue Management and Cash Management.
• Create and debug Workday reports, including custom advanced and matrix reports.
• Understand and manage Workday Customer Contracts, Invoices, and Billing schedules.
• Work with Workday bi-annual feature releases and provide best practice advice.
• Build complex inbound and outbound integrations using XML, XSLT, and web services.
• Conduct regression testing and ensure no SLA impacts using Kainos test automation.
• Manage Workday Security and assign user- and role-based security groups.
• Travel to Rockville, MD a few times a year for meetings.

Key Skills:

• Expertise in Workday Financials and related modules.
• Hands-on experience with report creation and debugging.
• Strong knowledge of XML, XSLT 3.0, and web services (SOAP/REST API).
• Experience with Workday integrations and debugging.
• Familiarity with Kainos test automation.
• Understanding of Workday Security management.
• Experience with Vertex is a plus.
• Ability to advise on best practices and leverage new features.
