Summary: The Senior Principal Workday Financials Consultant role involves leading Workday Professional Services Automation and Financials workstreams for assigned accounts in a remote capacity. The consultant will leverage their functional expertise and collaborative skills to enhance client success while managing day-to-day operations and optimizing Workday Financials processes. This position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to lead a team effectively in a dynamic environment. A strong understanding of Workday Financials and relevant certifications are essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Onshore lead for Workday Professional Services Automation & Financials workstream for assigned accounts.
  • Apply and execute various AMS and/or Implementation methodologies/activities in Workday FINS/PSA engagements.
  • Collaborate with offshore/nearshore teams on day-to-day activities, incidents, root cause analysis, and other work requests.
  • Gather requirements and translate them into effective Workday Financial configurations.
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of Workday Financials solutions.
  • Evaluate and optimize Workday Financials processes and configurations.
  • Oversee system regression testing for Workday Financials product releases.
  • Ensure adherence to SLA constructs.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to create high business impact.
  • Contribute to the operational efficiency of the Workday practice.
  • Develop reporting dashboards to improve Workday utilization.
  • Identify and resolve issues impacting project scope and timeframe.
  • Maintain the Workday platform focusing on reporting, business process maintenance, security administration, data loads, and audits.
  • Lead multiple tasks and projects simultaneously while prioritizing effectively.
  • Ensure timely delivery of project deliverables and reminders with vendors and project teams.
  • Drive continual business process improvements throughout the organization.
  • Lead a team of Workday consultants across multiple engagements.

Key Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree (preferably in Computer Science or Engineering) or equivalent experience.
  • 5-7 years of Corporate Applications portfolio experience and 3-5 years in client-facing roles handling managed services in a global delivery model.
  • Expert level understanding of Workday Financials domain.
  • Workday Professional Services Automation certification is mandatory.
  • Able to multitask and perform a variety of duties.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to go the extra mile to solve customer problems.
  • Good analytical skills with the ability to solve complex incidents and provide best practices.

Responsibilities: Onshore lead who leads Workday Professional Services Automation & Financials workstream for the assigned set of accounts (Partner certification is mandatory). Apply and execute various AMS and\or Implementation methodologies\activities in these Workday FINS\PSA engagements Should collaboratively work with the offshore\nearshore teams on day -day activities, incidents, root cause analysis and other work requests Collaborate with cross-functional teams within operations and finance to gather requirements and translate them into effective Workday Financial configurations.
