Summary: We are seeking an experienced Workday Finance Lead to oversee the implementation, optimization, and support of Workday Financial Management solutions. The candidate will serve as a subject matter expert for finance modules, collaborating with stakeholders to drive system enhancements that align with business goals. This role requires a strong understanding of financial processes and hands-on experience with Workday configuration. The ideal candidate will also mentor junior team members and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end implementation and support of Workday Financials modules (GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Expenses, Procurement).
- Partner with finance stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
- Design and configure Workday Finance solutions to meet organizational needs.
- Manage system integrations with third-party applications and internal systems.
- Oversee data migration, validation, and reconciliation processes.
- Provide leadership in Workday releases, updates, and continuous improvements.
- Troubleshoot system issues and provide timely resolutions.
- Develop reports, dashboards, and analytics within Workday.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls.
- Mentor and guide junior team members and functional consultants.
Key Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, IT, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience with Workday Financial Management.
- Strong understanding of financial processes (GL, AP, AR, budgeting, forecasting).
- Experience in at least one full-cycle Workday Financials implementation.
- Hands-on experience with Workday configuration and business process frameworks.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
