Summary: The Workday Finance Integration Developer is responsible for implementing and maintaining Workday integrations, collaborating with business and IT stakeholders to confirm requirements, and ensuring successful delivery of Workday solutions. The role requires a strong technical background in Workday EIB, API management, and integration testing, along with effective management skills to lead workshops and track project progress. The position is remote and classified as outside IR35.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and maintain Workday EIB Inbound/Outbound Integrations, Core Connectors, and Workday Studio.
  • Work directly with key business and IT stakeholders to confirm requirements and facilitate discussions.
  • Evaluate and communicate technical impacts of application configuration decisions.
  • Register API clients and utilize OAuth 2.0 workflow.
  • Develop, test, and deploy integrations to meet business requirements.
  • Work with XML, XSLT, and JSON.
  • Use Workday Web services including RAAS, SOAP, REST, and Graph.
  • Explain use cases for App Components and design Business Processes.
  • Stay updated on Workday releases and recommend system enhancements.
  • Create and maintain documentation of application designs and test plans.
  • Lead integration design workshops and support activities.
  • Track issues and risks, and communicate status to project management.
  • Participate in project planning and execution for successful delivery.
  • Exercise confidentiality and independent judgment in duties.
  • Manage change effectively considering technology and business processes.

Key Skills:

  • 5 to 7 years of experience with Workday EIB, Core Connectors, and Workday Studio.
  • Strong understanding of API management and OAuth 2.0.
  • Proficiency in XML, XSLT, and JSON.

Technical Skills

  • 5 to 7 years of Demonstrated experience in the implementation and maintenance of Workday EIB Inbound/Outbound Integrations, Core Connectors, and Workday Studio.
  • Work directly with key business and IT stakeholders to confirm requirements, consider design alternatives, facilitate discussions, and ultimately drive requirements sign-off.
  • Evaluate, communicate, and coordinate the technical impacts of application configuration decisions.
  • Registration of API clients and use of OAuth 2.0 workflow.
  • Develop, test, and deploy integrations required to meet business requirements.
  • Ability to work with XML, XSLT, and JSON.
