Summary: The Workday Finance Functional Consultant role involves implementing and supporting Workday finance modules in a remote capacity. The consultant will lead design workshops, provide post-production support, and serve as a subject matter expert. Strong experience in various finance modules is essential, along with excellent communication skills and a passion for knowledge sharing. The position requires the ability to learn technology quickly and participate in the planning and implementation of additional Workday Financial modules.
Key Responsibilities:
- Experience implementing/supporting Workday finance modules
- Lead workshop sessions for design and architect
- Excellent config experience
- Data conversion experience
- Strong experience within any finance modules Workday Payroll, absence, time tracking
- Strong with any finance modules like GL, AR, AP, Procurement, Asset Management etc.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Passionate about knowledge sharing
- Ability to learn technology quickly through instruction and self-training
- Provide post-production support and enhancement services in multiple areas of Workday Financials and serve as the subject matter expert to assist fellow team members and clients
- Participate in advisory, planning and implementation of additional Workday Financial modules by documenting requirements, mapping processes, and implementing best-practice configuration
