Summary: The Senior Workday Financials Consultant will lead a transformative initiative aimed at modernizing financial operations through Workday Financials. This role requires expertise in configuration and process optimization, focusing on enhancing key finance functions while collaborating with Finance, Accounting, and Technology teams. The consultant will streamline operations and automate processes to improve efficiency and reporting. Key Responsibilities:

  • Configure and optimize Workday Financials modules and business processes.
  • Enhance invoice generation, delivery, and AP intake automation.
  • Implement and support bank integrations and automated cash application solutions.
  • Develop operational and financial reports, dashboards, and analytics.
  • Support testing, deployment, production issue resolution, and post-go-live stabilization.
  • Collaborate with Finance leaders to translate business requirements into scalable Workday solutions.
  • Drive adoption of delivered Workday functionality while reducing reliance on manual processes and legacy customizations.

About the Role

This role is ideal for a Workday Financials expert who can drive configuration, process optimization, and automation across key finance functions while partnering closely with Finance, Accounting, and Technology teams.

What Success Looks Like

You will help streamline financial operations by leveraging Workday capabilities to improve Procure-to-Pay, Quote-to-Cash, and Record-to-Report processes. The role will focus on reducing manual effort, enhancing reporting, automating invoice and cash management processes, and improving overall system efficiency.
