Workday FDM Lead Consultant

Summary: The Workday FDM Lead Consultant is responsible for leading the design and governance of Financial Data Model (FDM) initiatives within Workday Financials. This role requires extensive experience in Workday Financials and FDM, along with strong analytical and stakeholder management skills. The consultant will work remotely and will be classified as outside IR35. The position demands the ability to manage cross-functional teams effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead FDM design workshops and governance processes.
• Manage large-scale FDM initiatives across cross-functional teams.
• Utilize expertise in Workday Financials modules including GL, AP, AR, Procurement, and Projects.
• Ensure compliance with financial reporting standards and audit requirements.
• Provide analytical support and problem-solving for FDM-related challenges.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders and document processes.

Key Skills:

• 7+ years of experience in Workday Financials, with at least 3+ years focused on Workday FDM.
• Strong expertise in Workday FDM, reporting hierarchies, and dimension management.
• Hands-on experience with Workday Financials modules (GL, AP, AR, Procurement, Projects).
• Proven experience in leading FDM design workshops and governance processes.
• Familiarity with financial reporting, compliance standards, and audit requirements.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and documentation skills.
