Workday Extend Developer with Security Frameworks

Job Summary

We are looking for a Senior Workday Extend Consultant with strong experience in Workday Extend development, integrations, and Workday security frameworks. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in Workday Extend, App Builder, Workday Studio, EIBs, Core Connectors, and Workday APIs, along with strong troubleshooting and production support capabilities.

Required Skills:

• 10+ years of overall IT experience with extensive Workday experience.
• Hands-on experience with Workday Extend, App Builder, and Custom Applications.
• Strong experience with Workday Orchestrations.
• Expertise in Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, and Cloud Connect.
• Experience with REST, SOAP, JSON, XML, and Workday APIs.
• Strong understanding of Workday Security, including Security Groups, Domain Security, and Business Process Security.
• Experience with Custom Reports, Calculated Fields, and Workday Prism Analytics.
• Knowledge of Workday HCM and modules such as Payroll, Benefits, Time Tracking, or Finance.
• Experience integrating Workday with enterprise applications such as SAP, Oracle, UKG, or similar systems.
• Strong troubleshooting, testing, deployment, and production support experience.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and support Workday Extend applications and integrations.
• Build scalable integration solutions between Workday and third-party enterprise systems.
• Collaborate with business and functional teams to understand requirements and deliver technical solutions.
• Develop, test, deploy, and support Workday applications and integrations.
• Troubleshoot integration and application issues and provide production support.
• Ensure security, performance, scalability, and Workday best practices throughout the development lifecycle.
• Participate in technical design, testing, deployment, and issue-resolution activities.

Preferred Candidate:

• Strong combination of Workday Extend + Integration + Security expertise.
• Experience working with enterprise-scale Workday implementations.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment while supporting EST business hours.
