Summary: The Workday Consultant (Compensation & Reward) role involves supporting the implementation of Workday’s Compensation functionality as part of a broader transformation. The consultant will collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure successful configuration and deployment of compensation-related processes within the Workday platform. This position is remote and outside IR35, with a contract duration of 6 months and potential for extension.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with internal teams to gather and analyse requirements related to compensation structures, plans, and processes.
  • Configure Workday Compensation and Advanced Compensation modules (including base pay, merit, bonus, and equity planning).
  • Support the development and rollout of compensation review cycles and eligibility rules.
  • Coordinate with HRIS and external implementation partners to validate system configurations and resolve technical issues.
  • Conduct and support all phases of testing (unit, integration, UAT) to ensure solution quality.
  • Provide subject matter expertise in Workday Compensation, offering recommendations for optimisation and scalability.
  • Document configurations and support training initiatives for HR and business users.
  • Deliver post-implementation support, issue resolution, and enhancements as needed.

Key Skills:

  • Workday experience with a strong focus on the Compensation and Advanced Compensation modules.
  • Direct involvement in at least one end-to-end Workday Compensation implementation.
  • Solid understanding of compensation processes including merit cycles, bonuses, and salary structures.
  • Ability to configure compensation rules, eligibility criteria, compensation grades, and compensation plans in Workday.
  • Familiarity with Workday reporting tools (custom reports, calculated fields, etc.).

Workday Consultant (Compensation & Reward) Remote Outside IR35/ Contract (6 months with potential extension) A leading organisation is seeking a Workday Compensation Contractor to support the implementation of Workday’s Compensation functionality as part of a broader Compensation & Benefits transformation. This role plays a key part in ensuring the successful configuration and deployment of compensation-related processes within the Workday platform. You will collaborate with HR, Total Rewards, and IT stakeholders, as well as external partners, to align the system build with strategic compensation practices.
