Summary: The Workday Configuration Consultant role is focused on enhancing and maintaining Workday Recruiting solutions in collaboration with HR and technology teams. This hands-on position requires strong functional expertise and the ability to translate business needs into effective system configurations. The consultant will be responsible for various tasks including configuration, troubleshooting, and documentation. The role is remote and targets candidates with significant Workday experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Configure and maintain Workday Recruiting modules, including business processes, and security roles
- Partner with HR and Recruiting stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into system configurations
- Support enhancements, optimization initiatives, and issue resolution across HCM and Recruiting
- Lead or support testing activities (unit, system, and UAT) for configuration changes
- Troubleshoot system issues and provide timely resolution or recommendations
- Ensure data integrity and adherence to Workday best practices
- Document configurations, processes, and changes for weekly release, audit and knowledge transfer purposes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including HRIS, DT, and external partners as needed
- Provide guidance on Workday capabilities and recommend improvements
Key Skills:
- 3-5 years of hands-on Workday configuration experience
- Strong expertise in Recruiting module and Core HCM
- Experience with Business Process Framework, Security configuration, Calculated fields, and Reporting
- Proven ability to gather and translate business requirements into technical configurations
- Experience supporting Workday enhancements and production support
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

What You'll Do:
We are seeking an experienced Workday Configuration Consultant to support ongoing enhancements and operational needs across Workday Recruiting. This role will partner closely with HR, Recruiting, and HR technology teams to configure, optimize, and maintain Workday solutions aligned with business priorities. This is a hands-on configuration role requiring strong functional expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to translate business requirements into scalable system solutions.

- Familiarity with Workday releases and feature adoption
- Workday certification(s)

- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
