- Setting up Open Enrolment event types, enrolment periods, and communication materials within Workday.
- Updating benefit rates, rate tables, and provider premium schedules.
- Leading end-to-end OE testing (configuring test scenarios, launching test OE events, and validating business processes).
ACA Tracking & 1095-C/1094-C Processing:
- Configuring Workday ACA eligibility measurement rules, stability periods, and hours tracking.
- Setting up Offer and Coverage codes (Lines 14 & 16 of Form 1095-C).
- Auditing, troubleshooting, and generating IRS year-end ACA reporting files.
Support & Administration:
- Serving in a Benefits Administrator capacity to troubleshoot configuration issues, run audits, and resolve employee enrolment errors during the live OE window.
- Partnering directly with functional benefits stakeholders to translate plan changes into system requirements.
- Running EIBs (Enterprise Interface Builders) for mass data loading (e.g., rate updates, enrolment corrections).
Ideal Sourcing Profile / Candidate Checklist
Workday Experience: 3 5+ years focused on Workday Benefits and ACA Processing.
Cycle Experience: Proven track record running at least 2 full Open Enrolment lifecycles in Workday (experience with a first-year / cutover OE is a major differentiator).
Technical Skills: Workday Benefits Config, EIB mass loads, Calculated Fields, and Custom Reporting for benefit plan audits and vendor reconciliations.
