Summary: The Workday Adaptive Planning Consultant role involves designing and developing financial planning models within Workday Adaptive Planning, focusing on budgeting, forecasting, and workforce planning. The consultant will collaborate with finance teams to create scalable solutions and maintain integrations with source systems. This position requires extensive experience in financial planning and technical expertise in scripting and formulas. The role is remote and outside of IR35 regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop financial planning models and templates in Workday Adaptive Planning for budgeting, forecasting, workforce planning, and scenario analysis.
- Configure and maintain metadata, dimensions, versions, and accounts within Adaptive Planning.
- Build and optimize integrations between Workday Adaptive Planning and source systems (e.g., Workday HCM/Finance, ERP, data warehouses).
- Partner with Finance teams to gather requirements and translate them into scalable solutions within Adaptive Planning.
- Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and KPIs to support real-time insights and performance monitoring.
- Provide technical expertise in scripting and formulas (e.g., Adaptive formulas, OfficeConnect).
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual planning cycles and ensure data accuracy and timeliness.
- Manage user roles, permissions, and security settings in Adaptive Planning.
- Perform UAT, system testing, and documentation of enhancements and new features.
Key Skills:
- 10+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis.
