Job Summary

The Wireless and Network Systems Administrator is responsible for installing, configuring, maintaining, and supporting an organization's wired and wireless network infrastructure. This role ensures network availability, security, performance, and reliability while providing technical support for network-related issues. The administrator collaborates with IT teams and vendors to maintain secure and efficient network operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain wired and wireless network infrastructure.
• Monitor network performance, availability, and security.
• Configure and manage routers, switches, wireless access points, firewalls, and VPNs.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network connectivity and performance issues.
• Perform network upgrades, patches, and firmware updates.
• Monitor network capacity and recommend improvements.
• Implement network security policies and access controls.
• Maintain network documentation, diagrams, and configuration records.
• Support disaster recovery and business continuity initiatives.
• Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to resolve network-related issues.
• Provide technical support for users and infrastructure as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or a related field.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs, and routing/switching concepts.
• Experience with wireless networking technologies and enterprise Wi-Fi solutions.
• Familiarity with Windows Server and/or Linux administration.
• Experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
