Summary: The Windows Deployment Services (WDS) Migration Engineer/Consultant is responsible for deploying and configuring essential software for web applications, ensuring optimal web server performance, and integrating network and security measures. This role also involves implementing backup and disaster recovery solutions and conducting pre-production validation to ensure readiness for deployment. The position is fully remote, allowing for flexibility in work arrangements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Software Installation & Configuration: Deploy and configure prerequisite software essential for Web Application functionality.
• Web Server Configuration & Testing: Configure and validate Web server settings to ensure optimal performance and security.
• Network & Security Integration: Create firewall requests, configure load balancing for high availability, and create DNS entries to enhance accessibility and resilience.
• Backup & Disaster Recovery Implementation: Install and configure backup agents, followed by restore testing to ensure data integrity and recovery capabilities.
• Pre-Production Validation: Conduct comprehensive testing, identify and resolve issues, and finalize configurations before production deployment.
