Summary: The role of Epic Willow Inpatient Analyst at BCforward involves managing and supporting Epic Willow Inpatient configurations and pharmacy workflows. Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the SME for Epic Willow Inpatient workflows and configurations.
  • Manage and prioritize daily support, incidents, and service requests per SLAs.
  • Monitor and resolve error queues, label and printer issues, and pharmacy automation interfaces.
  • Troubleshoot dispensing cabinet and robot interfaces, including ID mapping.
  • Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
  • Build and maintain inpatient pharmacy configurations within Epic EHR.
  • Manage medication order sets, formulary setup, dose checking, and medication loads (Medi-Span).
  • Configure NDC billing builds, pharmacy charge maps, and 340B billing workflows.
  • Support medication build activities including IV mixtures, compounding, and repackaging.
  • Develop and maintain BPA/OPA alerts to support clinical decision-making and safety.
  • Support CPOE and pharmacy verification workflows for medication order management.
  • Engage client stakeholders and align system capabilities with clinical and business needs.
  • Collaborate with pharmacists, pharmacy operations, nurses, and physicians to optimize workflows.
  • Coordinate with Accenture, software vendors, client contacts, and offshore teams.
  • Participate in team meetings and communicate progress, risks, and resource needs.

  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA, data governance, medication safety, and security policies.
  • Develop end-user training materials and conduct training sessions.
