Summary: We are looking for a WebSEAL Developer to enhance our security and infrastructure team, focusing on the development, configuration, and maintenance of IBM WebSEAL environments. The role involves integrating authentication solutions, optimizing performance, and ensuring security for web applications. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing WebSEAL environments and collaborating with various teams. This position is a contract role lasting over 12 months.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain IBM WebSEAL reverse proxy infrastructure.
- Configure junctions, policies, ACLs, and authentication mechanisms.
- Integrate WebSEAL with TAM/ISAM, LDAP directories, and enterprise SSO solutions.
- Troubleshoot access issues and performance bottlenecks in secured web applications.
- Develop scripts and automation to support WebSEAL deployments and monitoring.
- Work closely with application, security, and network teams for seamless integration.
- Apply patches, upgrades, and perform regular security audits of WebSEAL environments.
- Provide documentation and support for implemented solutions.
Key Skills:
- 3-7 years of experience with IBM WebSEAL / ISAM / TAM.
- Strong understanding of reverse proxy, SSO, authentication flows, and HTTPS protocols.
- Experience with WebSEAL junctions (standard, transparent, TCP, virtual host, etc.).
- Proficiency in access control policies (ACLs, POPs, EAI) and custom login pages.
- Familiarity with LDAP, Kerberos, SAML, OAuth, and related identity protocols.
- Working knowledge of scripting (Shell, Python, or similar) for automation and logs analysis.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
