Summary: The role of Back End / Fullstack Engineer III involves designing and developing scalable web and backend systems while collaborating with cross-functional teams. Key Responsibilities:
- Architect, develop, and operate both frontend (web) and backend (APIs, microservices) systems that can scale globally, following good design and development practices.
- Partner with a team of engineers, product managers, designers, and data scientists to build end-to-end client-facing experiences.
- Champion engineering best practices, sound architecture, and operational excellence.
- Foster a collaborative culture built on shared ownership, constructive feedback, and continuous improvement.
Key Skills:
- Experience working across the stack, from building scalable APIs to developing intuitive, high-performing, modern frontend web applications (NextJS/React preferred).
- Confident building and operating backend services with Java frameworks using modern cloud environments; familiarity with tools such as gRPC, GCP, BigQuery, and Bigtable is a strong plus.
- Enjoy working collaboratively on a full-stack team, using agile processes to deliver a project in incremental phases.
- Methodical and pragmatic approach to problem-solving, connecting technical, product, and business perspectives.
- Strong focus on quality and reliability in code delivery.
