Summary: Digitech is seeking a skilled Web Engineer with expertise in React, Next.JS, and Golang for a 6-month extendable contract to work on a project for a globally recognized tech brand. Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate within a cross-functional product team to design, build, and deliver high-quality web features.
• Partner closely with Back End and mobile developers to integrate APIs and ensure cohesive user experiences across platforms.
• Contribute to the creation of fast, accessible, and responsive user interfaces.
• Use modern development tools and frameworks to build scalable Front End architecture.
• Advocate for and implement best practices in performance, testing, and accessibility.
• Communicate technical decisions clearly and work collaboratively across disciplines.

Key Skills:

• Proven experience in building responsive, maintainable web UIs with modern JavaScript and Front End frameworks (eg, React, Next.js).
• Proven experience with Golang, you will be expected to support the backend/platform team which will involve coding with Go.
• Solid understanding of web fundamentals-including HTTP, web performance, security, and browser internals.
• Familiarity with Front End testing techniques and tools (eg, Webdriver, WebPageTest, or similar).
• Exposure to accessibility standards and best practices in building inclusive web products.
• Experience optimising for web performance at scale.
