Summary: The Web Development & Marketing Platforms Project Manager will oversee the implementation of various digital projects within a specialized technology company on a 6-month contract. This role involves leading project life cycles, engaging stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with data privacy standards. The position requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to enhance company websites and manage e-commerce platforms. The role is remote with occasional work in Paddington, London.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end project life cycle for software projects, ensuring delivery on time, within scope, and on budget.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritising resources and efforts effectively.
- Define project objectives, milestones, and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Ensure authorised projects have the appropriate resources and funding assigned to them.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Global Marketing & Sales, regulatory, IT, and external vendors.
- Act as the primary liaison between technical teams and business units to ensure requirements are accurately captured and delivered.
- Oversee the implementation of software, ensuring integration with existing platforms and compliance with data security standards.
- Manage the development and enhancement of company websites, ensuring they meet accessibility, usability, and branding standards.
- Ensure release procedures and appropriate governance are adhered to.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, corporate policies, and industry standards throughout the program life cycle.
- Oversee the deployment of customer consent management systems to ensure data privacy compliance.
- Identify potential risks and proactively develop mitigation strategies.
- Resolve project issues in a timely and effective manner to minimize disruption to business operations.
- Mentor and guide project teams, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented environment.
- Evaluate performance metrics and implement continuous improvement practices for programme delivery.
Key Skills:
- Experience with E-commerce, customer engagement tools, and data-driven marketing integrations.
- Marketing automation and CRM platforms (e.g., MS Dynamics).
- Expertise in customer journey mapping, conversion rate optimization (CRO), and personalized user experiences.
- Proven experience launching B2B/B2C E-commerce platforms with integrations to CRM, SAP, payment, and PIM systems.
- Knowledge of headless commerce architectures and omnichannel strategies.
- Hands-on experience integrating marketing stacks with web/mobile platforms and data-driven campaigns.
- Implemented GDPR/CCPA-compliant data collection pipelines and cookie consent managers.
- UX/UI for Conversion Optimization.
- Collaborated with UX teams to design high-converting landing pages and mobile app flows.
- Ad Tech & Analytics Expertise.
- Piloted AI/ML-driven features.
- Adopted low-code tools for rapid campaign landing pages.
- Cross-functional leadership bridging marketing, sales, and engineering teams.
- Expertise in global campaign rollouts and localization.
